Beat the summer heat with an unforgettable Pool Party with Student Ministries. Middle School and High School students are invited for a barbecue and swimming. We will gather at the Venture Office and Ministry Center (10420 Beaumont Avenue, Cherry Valley) on Thursday, July 16 and carpool to Redlands. We will leave at 5:00 and be back by 9:00. We are excited to study a challenging and significant book this summer: 1 John.
In the midst of a confusing world, confidence can be hard to find – especially in our spiritual lives. Can we know with certainty that we are really walking with God? 1 John gives three important proofs: our lives have been changed, we love God’s people, and we believe in Jesus and what he did on the cross.
John wrote this letter so his readers may know that they have eternal life – in other words, that we can be confident! Join us each Sunday at 10 a.m. for this important study, and walk with us as we seek to live out the clear teachings of 1 John.
This Sunday (July 5) is the 3-year anniversary of Venture Church. We will celebrate with a Church Picnic at Los Rios Ranch. Families can bring food or purchase lunch from Los Rios. Please bring blankets and/or lawn chairs, and come ready to enjoy food, games, and slightly cooler weather with our church family. The Worship Service begins at 10:00 in the Chatigny Community Center, and we will caravan to Los Rios following the service. Join us from 12:30-3:30 at Los Rios this Sunday!
Middle School and High School students will experience a week at Ponderosa Pines August 3-7. “Pondo” is well-known for crazy fun, great staff, and amazing teaching from God’s Word. The cost for the week is only $269, including a $100 deposit to guarantee your spot. Join us on this exciting week, and invite some friends to join you! The Annual Meeting of Venture Church will take place Sunday evening, June 28 from 6:00-7:00. Join us in the Venture Ministry Center as we gather to celebrate an exciting year of ministry, share some new ideas for the upcoming year, and vote to approve the budget and affirm new elders. We will also vote to amend the Church By-laws to better reflect our existing leadership structure. Most importantly, we will pray together for God’s continued blessings on Venture Church.

MOVE Kid Summer Experience is happening June 22-26 from 9:00-11:30 at DeForge Park in Beaumont. This unforgettable day camp includes songs, skits, games, crafts, snacks, and more! MOVE takes a look at the lives of some people from the Bible who changed direction after coming face to face with Jesus. Kids will have fun discovering how they can MOVE!
You can register your child on arrival to DiForge Park, but you can save some time by registering them at Venture Church on Sunday mornings (10:00 am at the Chatigny Community Center) or stopping by the Venture Office and Ministry Center (10420 Beaumont Avenue, Cherry Valley).
