Sept 14th Baja trip for website
September 14th 2015 Missions is where you find it. It could be around the world or three and a half hours to the south or across the back yard fence. On September 14th it was La Mision Baja California. Sue and I along with Steve and Nancy Johnson traveled to Baja to serve with
Siloé Ministries, a medical nonprofit serving in La Mision, Baja California and other poor communities in Mexico. Siloé Ministries provides needy families with free health education, medical care and Christ-centered counseling. By hosting medical mission’s teams they are able to provide family medicine and dental clinics in the La Mision area. It was here that Sue used her career skills in assisting an Oral Surgeon pull 30 teeth from hurting folks that do not usually have access to dental care. We will be organizing future trips that will allow our church family to minister to the families of this small community. We trust you will seek the Lord’s guidance in joining us on an adventure south of the border.
