Christ followers are called to serve. At Venture, we serve together within the church, in the community and globally, as we meet the needs of people and share the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Serve Within Venture
- KidVenture – Serve up to one Sunday per month leading our children in the KidVenture ministry
- Student Ministries – Help disciple teenagers through our student ministries that meet on Thursday nights and are also have events, retreats, and camps
- Worship Team – Use you musical or technical skills to lead the church in playing worship music
- Prayer Team – Gather once a month to pray for Venture and its spiritual impact in the surrounding community
- Sunday Morning Hospitality Teams – Help everyone feel welcomed and loved by greeting and serving with setup, coffee and donuts on Sunday mornings
- Set Up/Tear Down Team – Help out in turning a gym into a worship setting, and then back into a gym!
- Life Group Leader – Lead great discussions in a living room as we join together to grow in discipleship
- MOPS – reach out to Mothers Of Preschoolers through the MOPS ministry
- Communications – Help spread the word about Venture Church through graphics, print, and social media
- Media/Audio Teams – Help record the sermon, conduct sound tests, run slides for the worship service and work the audio so that people can hear the message!
Local Outreach
Serve in our local community
- Memory Care – Help lead a weekly worship service for our friends at The Lakes Assisted Living & Memory Care
- Summer XP – Serve in our annual Kids Summer Experience (Venture’s version of Vacation Bible School)
Crossing the Border
Serving in Mexico
- Hands of Mercy – Build “loft houses” for needy families in Mexico
- Church Planting Partnerships – Come alongside other church plants in Ensenada, Mexico through training and ministry outreaches
- Siloe Ministries – Serve in a medical and dental clinic in Rosarito, Mexico
Strategic Global Partnerships
Planting churches around the world
- Ireland Church Plant – Venture supports church planting missionaries in Ireland through financial and prayer support, offering encouragement and sending short-term teams
- Liberia Mercy Partners – Venture partners with Liberia Mercy Partners to encourage church planters and their related ministries in Liberia
